Location: University of St. Thomas, Cullen Theater Hall in Houston

Our biggest film event of the past decade will take place during the annual TEXAS GO VEGAN WEEK! We're renting an entire theater hall at University of St.Thomas to present a free screening of "Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home"! This award-winning 3rd edition film from Tribe of Heart features honest interviews and rare footage demonstrating the emotional lives and intense family bonds of animals most often viewed as living commodities. We welcome the general public to this very special Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. event in honor of World Farm Animals Day and TEXAS GO VEGAN WEEK! Join us after the film for our Vegan Bake Sale Fundraiser and Reception in the lobby. Please support this free film screening and our year-round outreach efforts by purchasing delicious vegan baked goods, VSOP T-shirts, vegan books and other fundraising items. Free vegan literature will be available at our outreach table.

Seating is on a first come basis. Kindly RSVP online so we can plan accordingly for refreshments. If you are interested in donating vegan baked goods for the fundraiser, please email us -- we'd be very grateful! You can also make a tax-deductible contribution to support our outreach and help keep wonderful events like this free to the public.  

Parking is available in the University of St. Thomas Houston Moran Parking Garage, located one block away from theater at W. Alabama & Graustark streets. The $2 parking fee is paid upon exit - must pay in cash or coin. Very limited free parking available on street - be aware of tow-away zones. Metro Bus Route #78 services the University of St. Thomas, which is located in the historic Montrose district.
