4:45 PM: Walkers Assemble at Miller Outdoor Theater
5:00 PM: Begin 5K Walk
The theme for our 2016 5K Walk is "Walk for Animals, WALK FOR PEACE". This is a peaceful, all-ages, family friendly event! It is held on the Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, October 2, which is also World Farmed Animals Day. Additionally, the Walk takes place during our Annual TEXAS GO VEGAN WEEK!
Adults: $20 Registration Donation
Youth: $10 Registration Donation
Children (Age 5 & under): FREE
Registration is required for participation in the Walk. Park rules must be followed, including dogs on leashes. Please no posters or leafleting. All ages welcome! Children must be supervised at all times.
Advance registration donation includes a T-shirt, tote bag with vegan products and water bottle. T-shirts and totes can be picked up at the Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. Outreach Booth & Check-in Table by Miller Outdoor Theater. Check-in for the Walk will be open during our Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. Picnic, held directly before.
